Cassis and anise lead a tight, spiced nose, joined by liquorice and blackberries. The palate is fresh and detailed with ripe tannins carrying dark fruit, coffee and vanilla with fine, layered energy. Superb length on the finish. A youthful vintage of Contino's flagship single-vineyard red.
