Encountr's Christmas Dinner

Thirty-six guests. One private room. A converted Belgravia church, and the start of the Christmas season done properly.

Some of the evening we’ll tell you about. Some we won’t. Expect live music, special guests and voices from the hospitality community. Beyond that, we’d rather you found out on the night.

The evening opens at 7pm with champagne and canapés. Then comes a four-course Christmas dinner from Mosimann’s kitchen, led by Head Chef Ken Tolley and cooked in the club’s tradition of cuisine naturelle: seasonal, precise, never heavy.

Every course is paired with wine from Encountr’s curated cellar. We won’t tell you what’s in the glass until it’s in front of you.

It is an event curated for our network to celebrate another remarkable year and to make sure the next is brought in with cheer.

Three kinds of bottle will cross the table.

- Wines you’ll want on your own Christmas table, so you leave with a shortlist as well as a memory.

- Scarce bottles that are hard to find and harder to pour.

- Wines Encountr imports exclusively, which you won’t find in any shop.

A winemaker tasting is part of the evening. Who, and what, is just one of the evenings' surprises!
