Thursday, 15 October
Meet at London's Gatwick Airport
Arrive to Bilbao, collect luggage and meet the chauffeur
Private transfer to CVNE in Haro
Exclusive private tour, tasting of CVNE and private lunch co-hosted by Carlos Delage, the absolutely charming Export Director, Juan Guillén Cabezudo and Technical Director Maria Larrea
Transfer to the only five-star hotel in Logrono, the Áurea Palacio de Correos
Free time to refresh and relax
Transfer to Calle del Laurel to sample delicious pincho dishes from a number of the 60 restaurants in the gastronomic centre of not just Rioja, but Spain itself – beer, rioja and sherry will be the order of the evening!
Friday, 16 October
Leisurely breakfast
Transfer to CVNE Imperial winery to visit the winery and understand the production processes and history, but we will also have the chance to sample one or two of the greatest Imperial vintages of all time hosted by senior members of the team from CVNE
Transfer to Vinedos del Contino, the first Rioja chateau concept winery founded in 1973 where we will tour the manor house, winery and famous vineyards before enjoying an al-fresco lunch over breathtaking views
Transfer to hotel for free time, spa visits and recommended local activities
Enjoy a gastronomic surprise at Logrono’s most sought-after restaurants, the one Michelin star AJONEGRO, a fusion of Mexican and Spanish cuisine co-hosted by one of Rioja's most established wine makers and joined by one of the restaurants two talented chefs, to explain to us the philosophy and approach to their cuisine.

Transfer to the famed Muga Rioja winery
Soar over the vineyards via hot air balloon for a breathtaking tour of the Rioja region
Land amongst the vines for a typical Riojan lunch, followed by a private tour of the winery
