Five countries, one grape, and an evening built around the idea that Pinot Noir — like people — gets more interesting the further it travels.

This is not your typical wine tasting. Forget thimble-sized pours and hurried sips — this is Pinot Noir as it should be experienced: generous servings, a relaxed pace, and the time to actually notice what makes the grape so restless.

The evening opens with introductions over a glass of Maison Champagne Poirot, then moves through an international immersion in Pinot Noir — from France's Mellot Destinea and Louis Jadot, to Chile's Errazuriz, New Zealand's Esk Valley and Australia's Cherubino vineyards.

It's an evening about connection as much as wine: guests from London and abroad, meeting over a grape that expresses itself completely differently depending on where it's planted.
