In March 2026, a small group of guests spent three nights inside a part of Tuscany that isn't part of any published map.

Guests were guided on a completely private journey through some of the Antinori family's most storied estates, based at La Bandita Townhouse in the hill town of Pienza.

Days were built around private cellar tours and guided tastings of limited-edition Grand Cru wines at Cervaro della Sala, Tignanello and Badia a Passignano, each hosted, not by any guide-for-hire, but by the people who make the wine.

A private cookery class taught guests to make panzanella, pici and traditional wine biscuits by hand, finished with a panoramic lunch over the vines.

A four-course tasting menu, paired with Viognier and Botrosecco, closed the experience in one of the hidden restaurants Encountr has spent years earning access to.

This wasn't a wine tour. It was four days of being let into cellars and dining rooms that are not traditionally open to the public.
